  • How much do the cookies cost?
    The prices of individual biscuits vary, depending on design, amount of colours used, intricacy, techniques and size. The prices for pre-sales will be accordingly displayed on the website, as you scroll through the selection and place your order. Bespoke orders are individually priced, according to what tier is chosen and what embellishments are added. Please see the pricing in the menu bar for further information or click the link below.
  • What flavour are the cookies?
    They are made using my signature vanilla recipe, decorated with vanilla royal icing. I occasionally may offer a choice of other flavours, more suited to a season or a holiday (chocolate, snickerdoodle, variety of berries, etc...). If this is for pre-sales (such as Easter, Christmas, etc...), the flavour choice will be stated when ordering via the website. If you wish to order a bespoke set in a flavour other than my signature vanilla recipe, please get in touch. Note that other flavours require added ingredients and consequently, may result in a small price change.
  • How big are the cookies?
    They can range in size, but on average they are from 8cm up to 10 cm at their tallest/widest point.
  • What seasonal pre-sales are available?
    I aim to decorate collections and have pre-sales available for annual celebrations: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Father's Day, Halloween, Christmas, with potentially more designs slotted in between.
  • How do I place an order for a bespoke set?
    Please fill out the "Bespoke Order Enquiry Form", available in the menu section or underneath. I will then get in contact to further discuss your order, if need be. If I have availability and can work on your bespoke order, I will email you a price quote. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due within 24 hours of your invoice being sent. This secures you a slot in my calendar. Full payment is required 2 weeks prior to your order being completed.
  • Is there a minimum amount of cookies for bespoke orders?
    Yes, 6 regular-sized cookies minimum.
  • How much notice is required for bespoke orders?
    The sooner the better! To accommodate your bespoke order and give it the attention it deserves, I request a minimum of 2 weeks notice. If your schedule allows for it however, I highly recommend providing even longer notice, to not only avoid disappointment but also to guarantee that I can fulfil your custom order to the highest standard. This allows me to provide you with the exceptional quality and service that M.A.M.A.N is known for. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to creating something extraordinary for you!
  • Can I still place a bespoke order, even if I have not yet decided on a theme?
    Of course! There are so many lovely themes to choose from... sometimes, you just need to take your time! To reserve a date with M.A.M.A.N. for an upcoming event, a non-refundable deposit of £25 is required. This deposit will secure your chosen date in my calendar while you decide on a theme. I am more than happy to discuss theme options with you during this time! Once your theme has been chosen, the remaining balance must be paid in full, 2 weeks prior to the completion of your order. This process ensures that we can dedicate the necessary time and resources to creating your customised cookies.
  • How long do the cookies last?
    M.A.M.A.N's cookies are best eaten fresh. They however have a Best Before date of up to 4 weeks. They will stay fresh within that time, if kept in their heat sealed bags and stored correctly. Please keep the cookies in a cool, dry place: away from any source of heat or direct sunlight, and not in the fridge (this will cause condensation, which will ruin the design).
  • Can the cookies be frozen?
    Yes! Freezing is of course possible, especially if I am unavailable for the date of your event, and you don't mind ordering in advance to avoid disappointment and secure your order. Please send me a message and I will give you instructions for best practice.
  • Do you offer gluten and/or dairy free?
    I have in the past tried alternative recipes, but was not satisfied with the outcome. I'm afraid I cannot offer gluten and/or dairy free recipes for the foreseeable future.
  • Tell me about ingredients and allergens
    The ingredients I use are of the highest quality: plain flour (wheat), white and brown sugars, butter (dairy), free range eggs, vanilla bean paste and extract, corn syrup, corn flour, meringue powder (eggs), icing sugar, salt, baking powder and food colouring. I may add lustre dust, airbrush colours, sprinkles, rice paper and other decorations to embellish a set. Where specified and agreed of with the customer, I can also use a variety of bespoke flavours (chocolate powder, lemon zest and juice, berries etc...) Allergens are stated in bold above. All my cookies are baked and decorated in a home kitchen, where common allergens are present and used.
  • Postage & Packaging
    I offer delivery within the UK, via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For, so orders arrive quickly and safely at their destination. I charge a flat £6 for this service for small packages. Prices will increase for larger orders, to allow for adequate packaging and postage. When required, parcels will be secured with eco-friendly straw, to keep your cookies safe. I take great care in packaging your cookies safely. Once your order has been posted, I am no longer responsible for any damage that may occur during delivery. Where stated, some orders will also be presented in a gift box with added bows, ribbons, tags, bag toppers, backing card, food safe wooden sticks. All cookies are heat-sealed for maximum freshness. All cookies are packaged with an ingredients label.
  • Cancellations, Refunds, Returns
    Cancellations and refunds are dependent on circumstances: Presale purchases are paid in full, are final and non-refundable. * Bespoke orders must be secured with a non-refundable 50% deposit. * If you have to cancel a bespoke order, regardless of the reason why, no refund will be granted. If however, I find myself in a situation where I have to cancel your order (i.e. due to Covid), I will fully refund you. This is accountable for both presales and bespoke orders. No returns accepted. * Unless the cancellation is instigated by myself.
